The George and Marie Follett Music Collection: A special collection made up of a wide variety of music music titles. These materials are available to check out and can circulate just like other library items. 

Library of Things

The Hoag Library offers more than just books! Our Library of Things provides access to technology, equipment, and hands-on learning resources that help our community explore new interests, learn new skills, and connect with the world around them.

3D Printing

Bring your ideas to life with Hoag Library's Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer. Printing is available for a small fee based on filament usage. For more information or to submit a print request, email hoag3dprinter@nioga.org.

IT Lending Library

Hoag Library's IT Lending Library provides equipment to assist local nonprofit organizations, community groups, and educational programs. Available equipment includes a projector, Chromebook, conference camera, and other technology designed to support presentations, meetings, and virtual events.

Coming Soon: Birding Backpack Kit

Explore the outdoors with our Birding Backpack Kit! This kit includes binoculars and birding resources to help users identify local birds and learn more about the natural world.

Coming Soon: Fishing Lending Library

Looking for a new outdoor adventure? Hoag Library will soon offer a Fishing Lending Library, providing access to fishing equipment and resources to help community members enjoy local waterways. More information will be available as this collection is launched.

Civil War Collections

The Curtis Civil War Collection
The Curtis Civil War Collection was originally donated to Swan Library by William J. Curtis, a dedicated collector of Civil War history. The collection is especially notable for its emphasis on Confederate perspectives, reflecting Mr. Curtis’s many trips to the South where he acquired works that highlight the Southern viewpoint of the war.

The 26th United States Colored Troops Civil War Flag
Hoag Library proudly preserves the historic flag of the 26th United States Colored Troops, a regiment formed during the Civil War. The 26th USCT was composed of African American soldiers.

Interloan Service 

As a member of the NIOGA Library System, Hoag Library offers free interlibrary loan services. Materials can be requested from other libraries in the system at no cost. When the item becomes available, you will be placed on a hold list and notified as soon as it arrives—either by phone or by email.
